I was in shock that this almost forgotten anagram was solved so quickly by the cleverest detective's clever kitty.

Oh - I got it.
Am I right in assuming that the prop in question is VERY German?

Yes,  tobe,  it is that.

Gee, I don't know.   It's either VERY  German,  or  it's not german at all.

I  just hope we haven't solved this anagram before.   I  should make an anagrams solved thread.   More work  for this clever kitty,  though....but  what's work,  when you're having fun?

Come on guys, give it a try! I don't want to solve it now. Just think of someone German you, in case of being German, are not ashamed being associated with... (no Lederhosen, Sauerkraut, Dieter Bohlen and the like  )
(I hope, Kitty, giving that hint was ok for you?)

that's ok  tobe  any  clue  is fine.   Here are other clues,  and I'll recap here too--

TOUGH
FEET
SOB

Clues--Series 2,   three words,  Seen in Sherlock's bedroom.  Think of someone German you, in case of being German, are not ashamed being associated with... (no Lederhosen, Sauerkraut, Dieter Bohlen and the like)  It's also a canon thing.   You can also look on sherlockology.com  for their props.

Was difficult for me, too, as it is "Goethe-Büste" in German.

BUST OF GOETHE

That's correct.   you got it very well.   thank you for playing,  and for telling us the german  words for it.   I  do like learning foreign words.

You may post another anagram for us.

Btw, Kitty, how do you pronounce "Goethe"?  At school, our English teacher said you don't say "Geu-te" like we do, but "Go-eee-theee". Is that right?

you have to tell us  how many words are in the answer. That's one rule we must stand firm on.     Please?   with a cherry on top?

It's not so easy.... 4 words, strictly speaking.

Sitting here at my desk, feet up on the table, knitting, Scrabble tiles at hand, Hotel California on the radio. I need a direction I can think into! Please give us a hint. For example: Is the word Sherlock meant to be left as a whole word or allowed to be cut into letter pieces?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
John: "Have you spoken to Mycroft, Molly, uh, anyone?"
Mrs Hudson: "They don’t matter. You do."

Hahaaaa! THAT was a trick, wasn't it!?
Okay, Sherlock is meant as one word; keep it as it is....
More hints are really difficult, as it is no thing you can touch or quote... But it is near, so near....

Strictly speaking, there are six words in your four-word anagram!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
John: "Have you spoken to Mycroft, Molly, uh, anyone?"
Mrs Hudson: "They don’t matter. You do."

Strictly speaking, your solution is wrong.
