Just watched Steven's episode, tonight.
Great to see him back in the saddle.

I still haven't caught up! I've had so much going on and every time I try to watch I get a phone call or something. His episodes were always among the top rated, so looking forward to it!

I don't think I will ever be caught up with the all the episodes I've missed. But I might check out the episode when I get the chance. I don't really think of it as a show where I have to see every single episode in order to enjoy it.

I don't think it's that kind of show either! And I think particularly with these new ones, they're looking for a new audience . I think people could start with Ncuti and not feel lost.
When I say I'm not caught up, I mean I've only watched the first two of the current season! (I've missed lots of episodes over the years, but not going back to find them all!).

I've only seen two or three of Jodie's episodes and liked them. I remember more recently seeing people talking about how "having a female Doctor didn't work" or whatever and I remember thinking "She was great? Were we watching the same show???" I always meant to catch up, but we'll see. The last couple Doctors I seem to watch the first few episodes and then end up falling of the wagon for whatever reason. But I like to see how different actors play the role.

Yes, Jodie was good but her writing wasn't always great. I felt she lost some of the magic and darkness. But then as you say, it's interesting to see different actors in the role and they don't all play exactly the same character. And some of her episodes were really good.

I'm enjoying Ncuti, but I still miss Peter! And I still have to watch the current episode.

Finally caught up! This was a great episode! But kind of funny how it was so obviously one of Steven's. No spoilers, but if you watch it you'll know the kind of things I mean!
