Delighted my school re-introduced this tradition today.
Basically, on three occasions, a member of the management team walks around the school sounding(this time a tambourine.)
The whole school then stops whatever they are doing and wherever they are doing it, produce a book and sit and read for 15 mins.
I just happened to take a Sherlock volume in today( I am sure my school think I read nothing else!).
It is The Whole of Art Of Detection, by Lyndsay Faye.
I am loving it, btw, but this isn't the main reason for my post.
The page I opened to carry on reading from where I had left off, was a diary entry.
It was for 17 March...
what are the chances ?!
What does Mycroft say about coincidences?

What a great coincidence! I remember I had a book that was written as diary entries (a novel) and I decided to read it on the dates that were actually in the book, reading each date on the date in the book. It took a while...

Clueing for looks.
