"Sherlock Holmes and The Case of the Silk Stocking" is a 2004 TV movie starring Rupert Everett and Ian Hart as Holmes and Watson respectively. I liked this non-canonical take on the legend. There were a number of nods to ACD's original stories and novels.

Check out my compilation of references:

I love your lists of canon references, thanks again for sharing!

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

You are most welcome I love catching these references to ACD's genius.
