Well, I thought I knew what I was looking at and now I'm not sure - what am I supposed to see?  Is this a real life crossover?  My first thought was that it was going to change with TFP.

This is completely nuts.
We are nuts.
They are nuts.
The padded cell for us all will have to be HUGE.

Cool!

-----------------------------------

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Ooops, I created a thread before checking here.

Anyways, I have a question... I've been going through it... and was surprised to see the music stand... Does everyone see the same or do they see their own country. I'm curious!

Thanks, it just felt like too much of a coincidence, since the number 23 is also special to me...

Nothing that's telling me much and I didn't write them down.  A couple of old handgun magazines, a book on serial killers, one on the unexplained, one about Brittany, gum arabic, nitric acid ... then I got distracted.

After all the speculations on CS I am a bit shaken by the fact that there is a copy of the novel "Sleepers" on the desk. :-/

But what a great feeling to be "standing" in there!!!

Yes, that's very creepy now you mention it.

I like that there's a crime novel!  (The Case of the Drowsy Mosquito).  I like the idea of him getting some of his inspiration from fictional detectives (or lawyers, in the case of Perry Mason).  (Of course in this universe, he can't turn to Arthur Conan Doyle!).

What an amazing idea, love it!

Btw, what is maybe even more creepy than "Sleepers" as this book here to be found in the kitchen:

It is about the serial killers Rosemary and Fred West and Peter Sutcliffe.
