Late to the party - I have nothing to add so far, you have said it all. Hands, face, acting, Nolan, Tilda Swington, big fan of oher, and, yes, the Eye of Agamotto as baby pacifier.

OMFG wow! That trailer is so much more than I had hoped for!!

I did think Batman and Inception but by no means in a bad way!

How beautiful is he?? And his voice!

I'm on my phone right now...but I have to stream this to my tv screen just so I can take in more details!

And here is the intro Benedict did for the trailer on Jimmy Kimmel's show!

I love it when he does these comedy sketch things. Pity with all the clapping and cheering we miss a bit of what he says at the start... But obviously the audience was just as excited as we are

This is lovely. Great humour. And he looks just wonderful.

And something that makes me happy: after Germany missing out on TAB in cinemas and getting it months later than most other countries, we will get Doctor Strange on 27 October, one day earlier than the UK and a full week earlier than the US. Must be magic.

No magic - they probably just give more recognition to a comic book fans than to Sherlockians.

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

I've seen 27 October and 3 November for the Australian release date, I hope it's the earlier one, I'll go see it for my birthday

My six year old son wants to know if he can watch it with me!

Weird how those gifs make it look like Benedict is standing in one spot and the windows are moving past him

Maybe they aimed for exactly that effect. The movie has shades of Inception, so who knows?
Still, it seems like a stunning cinematography:

Oh. My. God. That was amazing! I am SO excited about this movie!

I've already made an agreement to watch with a geek friend of mine (the one who introduced me to Benedict, actually) so that we can go out for a beer or a glass of whisky afterwards. I am certainly gonna need it...

So if we get the movie first, they can also give us the European Premiere in Germany.

Den of Geek's trailer analysis
http://www.denofgeek.us/movies/doctor-strange/254510/doctor-strange-trailer-analysis
(And because they discuss how the Doctor Strange movie compares with the comic, there are story spoilers in the article)

One of the main things they point out is that we don't get to see much of Strange's magic powers in action, but we have to remember that the movie is still in post-production and all the special effects are probably still being perfected

Yeah, most of the trailer (more or less all scenes) focused on the pre-Dr.Strange time. I can imagine they shot most of those scenes first, so that they had time to put together the trailer this early. The more CGI-heavy scenes where he IS Dr. Strange are probably not ready yet.
