As our hundredth winner, I now bring you the one hundred and first caption competition photo.

What, in heaven's name, could possibly be going on here? You have one week to explain.

The one time Sherlock bit off more than he could chew.

SHERLOCK: No, John, I have absolutely no idea who stole your red pants. You must believe me. Would I lie to you with this face? Of course not.... and don´t look into my drawer I have an experiment there!

-----------------------------------

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

JOHN (off): Sherlock, what is it you have in your mouth there?
SHERLOCK (pointing him nearer): Pffffffff......
JOHN: Right. Our wedding wine was awful alright.

LESTRADE: Sherlock Holmes, I arrest you for an inappropriate conduct with Dr. Watson. Do you want to say something to defend yourself?
SHERLOCK: Mmmmm...mmm...
LESTRADE: I don´t understand. What exactly are you doing just now?
JOHN: Witholding the evidence!

Would someone please note for the records that I was not the first one to go there.

Sherlock: John, you learned the clarinet at school. Am I doing it right?

Ding! Ding! Ding! It's time to announce the winner!
I am sorry for taking so long to choose one, I kept getting sidetracked by university things.  But I am here now!

The number of entries was smaller this round, but they were all fun.  I must now choose one winner.  The rest are all my honourable mentions since it was a difficult choice to make.
And that winner is....
...
..
.
