That new album is literally his testament. His new song is called Lazarus, weird for us isn't it. But that one won't come back.

I'm listening to it right now. The song Blackstar is amazing.

I'll definitely have a Bowie medley this evening.

I actually haven't really heard much of the new album, just a bit of Lazarus that they showed on TV, with the hospital imagery - makes sense when you know what he had been going through. Will have to listen to it today.

Right now David Bowie and Freddie Mercury are somewhere in heaven catching up on gossip over a nice cup of tea.

And now Alan Rickman. One of the Big Ones for me. This is too much.

Just heard it on the radio and could hardly believe it. Horrible news . He was such a wonderful and diversely actor. Robin Hood, Dogma, Galaxy Quest, Snow Cake and Harry Potter of course - that are just the movies I recall instantly by thinking of him.
Lemmy, Bowie and now Rickman, can somebody please stop that?

Losing Rickman hurts so much.  He's helped tell so many wonderful stories and seems an honestly good man.

He was so brilliant. Great voice.

He was a true giant. So versatile, he was able to make me laugh and cry. He will be missed, truly, madly, deeply.

I can't believe the people we have lost just this week. Alan Rickman I know as Snape, though I have seen parts of at least a couple of his other movies, but just because I haven't seen him in a lot of different things, I still couldn't believe the news. Sad that he, too, was only 69.

My daughter is going to be devastated.  Of all the Harry Potter characters she adored Snape.

I had to be brave since I still was at the office.
But now that I'm home.... Never before I cried like this over the loss of an actor.
