Is there a tech wizard out there who can help me with the following: whenever I want to write something in bigger sized letters the braces with the commands keep appearing in the post.
Why is that? How can this be avoided?

I had the problem when I used the extended editor (default setting), now I've disabled that function and write the code myself.
Sometimes it just doesn't seem to work properly. You could send me the code of your message via PM (copy from the edit box), and I could check since it might be double tagged, and could tell you how to repair it.
But not before Sunday

... but there may be some new players now. It’s okay. The East Wind takes us all in the end.

Since Harriet is not available until Sunday - I checked your post in the birthday thread:

Happy birthday, Mattlocked!
Let yourself be celebrated!!

Click on source and you will see the code you have used. The size command at the beginning and the end is doubled. No idea how this happened but if you write something and click on source, you can see the code and correct it accordingly. Hope this helps.
