From the artist named "compilator":

-----------------------------------

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

In light of so many of you lucky ducks seeing a certain handsome and tragic Brit soon… love this fan poster!

The picture, or the man?

(But yes, I really love the style/speckle/lettering they do it in… that says 'Hamlet' - the man and skull!)

Nice! The shading looks good, and the expression is good too.

I should have looked more at the preview for that before loading the page.  My grandmother was nearby, in the room behind me, and then this picture was big on my screen.  It's a good piece of artwork, even though it's not what I tend to seek out.

It is quite touching.

I don't think she saw anything thanks to my cool head and quick cursor finger.  Luckily I did not have to come up with an impossible explanation.
