Vhanja, I know that I have written about why and since when I dislike Mary in at least four different threads before. My post was not bashing you for an opinion, just me expressing how tired I am of discussing the same thing again and again. Especually because it always starts with "You only hate her because you are a Johnlocker". I usually answer at length and always are ignored afterwards because my expanation does not fit the "Johnlockers hate Mary" prejudice.

What I am also tired of is being accused of "bashing" when I simply state my opinion. That happens a lot on the forum lately, people being accused of "bashing" just because they politely disagree

BTW, good bashing is surely done without saying "please".

Quite frankly, by now all this 'discussion' does is make me laugh. It's like saying that Mary is more liked among non-Johnlockers or anti-Johnlockers because she (and the fact that she's married to John) ensures that Johnlock will never happen.

Also, could you please point out where I stated that any of you posters in particular don't lke her because of shipping Johnlock? I even wrote that Johnlockers don't have a hive-mind. Stating that I think many Johnlockers dislike Mary because of their ship does not in any way say that you in particular are included in that group.

Well, as I read the survey it is about split in half concerning Mary, not more. But it's indeed unnerving that it is always knitted together being a johnlocker, finding the chemistry more convincing, pointing out that there are quite clearly romantic tropes used and not liking a character that is just not as convincing. There's all sorts around here. And I started with commenting on Lolas thoughts about the hating friends of John and Mary, noone commented on that so far.

Again - Johnlockers aren't one group with a hive-mind. I stated that a few posts ago. Some will dislike her for that reason, some will dislike her for other reasons and some will like her.

Just want to state three personal facts:

1. I am Johnlocker.
2. I don't like (not hate, because I can't hate a fictiomal person) Mary, because she shot Sherlock and I dislike the game she's playing. Only for those reasons and nothing else.
3. What I "hate" is to read always the same sh ... about the "narrow-minded" Johnlockers who don't seem to be able to think straight because they don't accept anyone standing between Sherlock and John.

Sorry for the direct words but I needed to get rid of.

Okay, thank you for clarification. I often find Warstan combined with Sherlolly, which are just two ships that don't convice me at all but are in my opinion designed and put together for not leaving our all beloved Sherlock completely behind.

Has anybody ever checked how many anti-johnlock-tumblrs have been created and how many anti-warstan? Combined with just anything that is said by the creators or Amanda herself I think Mary fans are quite safe. So I don't understand this talk about having the less popular opinion or shipping the less popular OTP.

If you are talking about me. I don't have the "right" opinion I just have have "my" opinion. And the shit was meant for the whole "Johnlockers against Mary" movement.
