Surely there must be a 'one true curry' out there somewhere.

But then Plato's archetypes really are annoying.

The only one true curry is the curry that Steven Moffat makes.

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Looks like the one true curry to me.

To be honest, I didn´t know "fish and chips curry" existed until now. I just randomly put it into Google and this fell off.

Fish and chips with curry sauce (and often mushy peas) is quite traditional where I live .  Sometimes there's a choice of ordinary curry sauce, Chinese curry sauce or gravy.  I'd recommend them all!  With salt and vinegar.

It's because I love fish that I don't want to eat them!

The only Anglo-Indian fusion dish I knew until now was kedgeree. Interesting to see this "relative" of it.

Better still, chip butty with scraps (pieces of batter left over from frying the fish and usually free!).

Nah, not really into scraps.
