No idea. But the premiere is at the beginning of August. And I think they will rehearse for a month at the minimum.

I don't remember time frames exactly...but I seem to recall from an interview, being amazed at how little rehearsal time they have before a big stage production...I literally thought it was only a couple of weeks.
So June sounds early to me, but I suppose end of June is poss.

I prefer to wait 2 years between each season but see a great show, sometimes close to perfection.
I would prefer 5 or 6 episodes in each season, but 3 in 2016 will be fine.

Thanks to internet, everything is immediate now. It's a good thing to wait and expect.

Because then they would probably lose their leading actors who do not have the time to film six 90-minute-episodes in a row. Would be at least six months.

Just what I was thinking, SusiGo. Both of them have said repeatedly that they'd love to keep doing the series into old age--and that they can only keep doing it because of the way it's scheduled.

Agreed 100%.

But we all are aware of course that we most likely won't get three episodes in 2016, but only the Special. And then three episodes in 2017.

Will there definitely be no shooting in 2016? Because shooting in January 2016 could lead to S4 at the end of 2016. *hopefully crosses fingers*

Oh, I'm sure they will shoot S4 next year and broadcast it at the beginning of 2017.
