Thank you for posting, four nominations is really good news. So let us keep our fingers crossed.

No info on awards for The Imitation Game, but =14px... from Variety: Benedict Cumberbatch to Receive BIFA’s Variety Award Dec. 7.

For those like me who had no idea what BIFA is, or what its Variety Award might signify (I do know what Variety is!), there's a BIFA press release here that explains.

Among those reporting on the BIFA Variety Award (rather than Doctor Strange) were:  the Mirror, which has a video that I hope is Benedict's acceptance speech, but it's just "loading" interminably for me;  Hello! has photos as well as a story; and the Mirror has a second story reporting on Sophie's outfit at the event.

The whole show was available yesterday on yt, but has been deleted since due to copyrighted reason.

I just watched the parts when Benedict and Andrew (who looked gorgeous as well) got an award.

I've just posted about Pride as well - it won best film and Andrew Scott won best supporting actor (and Imelda Staunton, best supporting actress).  It must be impossible to go to a screen awards ceremony these days without seeing somebody from Sherlock!

(I'm guessing that TIG is more likely to win the "big" awards).
