Whisky, you can ask your bookstore if they would get it for you, the majority of bookstores have now this possibility.

Might be true, but they told me it's hard on their business to do such "extra" import from UK and they once even told me to get it from the internet instead. The only ones who would do it (as customer service I suppose) are the big bookstore chains I think which I also try to avoid. (still better tham amazon of course) I cannot judge if what they say is true because I'm not a bookseller. If I think about it hard, maybe I shouldn't import UK books. Shipping and such, environment, etc etc. But where to start and to stop
We could also just share a book and send it round, I'd love that (as well as generally swapping and sharing stuff) but most people want to have things "for themselves" that's the problem.
I didn't want to turn the discussion away from the book itself though!

that's impressive! I envy your generosity!

I ruin myself to buy Sherlock DVDs for others so I can watch my own and people don't take them away from me all the time. And it took me three months to give them out to a friend to watch, and I wanted them back the next day, she didn't understand it at all...
But I would share now... I think?... not sure.................

I never used to share mine.
It's only because I keep getting all of these extraa copies, by me buying all of the special editions!

Mine's on order...if it's as good as the first one, it'll be excellent.
I'll tell you what else is good: the book that accompanies the Sherlock exhibitiion at the Museum of London
Sherlock Holmes; The Man who never lived and will never die.
Compiled byAlex Werner.

This just turned up at tumblr, it's a piece of dialogue from HLV that didn't end up in the scene. I think it's very interesting...

Same here. It's really interesting to see the changes they've made, what was there initially and what they decided against...
