I'm not sure Wusel - I'm pretty sure that there isn't an authorised biography out there, so any that you can buy will just be stuff taken from old interviews and photos that you could probably find online anyway, and pieces of unverifiable gossip!!
Maybe someone else on here might have a better idea though..

I know only about one biography, unauthorised one so I agree with Tinks, buying it will be waste of money. Probably the same things that are in this book you can find by yourself on the Internet (and in this forum  ). But it's your choice.

I highly recommended "Benedict Cumberbatch: In Transition" by Lynnette Porter.  It's a performance biography.  For anyone interested in the actor's craft, and if you want an in depth look at some of Benedict's roles on stage and screen, this book is a must-have.  It also has some interesting info on his life that I had not read before.  Just an all around wonderful book!

I'm waiting till Benedict is older and there's an authorized biography.

Just don't know if there would be anything in that bio that I haven't already learned on the internet or in interviews.

Probably not tonnaree. I've read ad of this biography and I knew all the facts that were shown as example. I'm afraid that this whole bio is made of internet and interviews staff, it's not official so it can contain almost everything.

I've got that book too, I haven't read it yet but I'm looking forward to doing so. I don't read biographies but I thought I'd give BC's a try.

I have a different one.
Trouble is, I think they are possibly all out of date now.

The Justin Lewis one was published in April 2014 so I hope it's up to date.

I will and I'll let you all know what I thought of it when I've read it. My mum bought it for me at Easter so I got BC and chocolate. What more could I ask for?!

I really enjoyed that book too. And according to amazon.de there will be another one: http://www.amazon.de/Benedict-Cumberbatch-Transition-Completed-Films/dp/1780926154/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1408272108&sr=8-1&keywords=benedict+cumberbatch+transition+completed - apparently to be released on November 3. Could be nice to have as well.
