Following the discussion in the 'Hamlet' thread, this is the place where those who would like to meet other board members on the occasion of one of the performances can arrange just that.

Go on then, let us know when you're gonna be at the Barbican - and maybe some of us will have a chance to meet before or after the play.

I'm going with my husband and we have tickets for the 1th september and 26th october. I did get tickets for 2 different dates, because we had to buy them so long in advance and maybe I won't make it to one of the performances because of work, illness or whatever, so I wanted to be sure to have another chance.
Oh and I forgot to say, the last time I saw Hamlet on stage (more than 25 years ago), I went to see it twice too because it had been soooo good. There had been a young actor in the title role that maybe the Germans here know, Martin Wuttke, it had been his first major role and he had been phenomenal, the whole production had been really great, original and intense and with Wuttke a new star in the theatre world had been born.

(Just had to google Martin Wuttke - the face is very familiar, but not the name.)

I'm really excited to see 'Hamlet'. I only ever saw 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' so far (at least as far as I can remember) and it's gonna be great to see another adaptation of a Shakespeare play.

My friends and I are gonna be there on August 19 by the way.
