Mycroft’s popularity doesn’t surprise me at all. He is, after all, incredibly beautiful, clever and well-dressed. And beautiful. Did I mention that?

A reasonable number of wins. I'm a bit disappointed by the individual awards but very pleased by the cast award.

Agree, would love to have seen BC and MF get the individual awards, but BEST CAST is quite appropriate, I think.

It was worth a wound–it was worth many wounds–to know the depth of loyalty and love which lay behind that cold mask. The clear, hard eyes were dimmed for a moment, and the firm lips were shaking. For the one and only time I caught a glimpse of a great heart as well as of a great brain. All my years of humble but single-minded service culminated in that moment of revelation.

I agree it would've been nice for Benedict and Martin to get individual attention but, otoh, I think it's great that the entire cast was recognized for the quality of the show.  The other actors haven't gotten the same recognition--Andrew Scott excepted--so it's nice to see regular cast members Rupert Graves and Una Stubbs, Loo Brealey, Mark Gatiss, and the others win here.

Quite some wins for Sherlock there. (Not so surprising for such a brilliant series, of course)

I agree, Best Cast is wonderful.

A NEW award giver?   Love them!!   you never know what you'll get.   But why is Sherlock  in the mini-series category?  to me it's a series.   Great wins,  by the way!!

Idris Elba was brilliant in Luther, so I can understand that one. Not that Benedict wasn't brilliant but looking at the voters, I understand; it would have been a very close affair between the 2 of them.

Skitty- there are only 3 shows in each 'series' of Sherlock so it is not considered to be eligible for the Series category.Mini Series suits its screenings quite well actually.

OH, and the full list of winners is on the link in the first post however may I just point out one winner which makes me VERY happy:

BEST LEAD ACTOR IN A DRAMA SERIES
*Hugh Laurie for “House" (Episode: “Everybody Dies")

This episode was the finale of the show how very appropriate to win for that one.

I think we should start a trend for spelling mini-series properly, like this. Miniseries gets me every time because it just looks like someone has misspelled ministries to me! I am also very chuffed that the wonderful Mr. Laurie has won an award.
