Sherlock copying others

Recently I noticed that Sherlock - on some occasions - is copying (consciously or unconsciously) what others have been saying or doing before.

Here's one example:

Any others?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
John: "Have you spoken to Mycroft, Molly, uh, anyone?"
Mrs Hudson: "They don’t matter. You do."

How about his praising John in Hounds using the adjectives John usually applies to him?

------------------------------
"To fake the death of one sibling may be regarded as a misfortune; to fake the death of both looks like carelessness." Oscar Wilde about Mycroft Holmes

"It is what it is says love." (Erich Fried)

“Enjoy the journey of life and not just the endgame. I’m also a great believer in treating others as you would like to be treated.” (Benedict Cumberbatch)

I agree, Susi, this fits in here

If only I remembered more, I know there are...

... but there may be some new players now. It’s okay. The East Wind takes us all in the end.

This one belongs to the same category:
Leaving behind one's phone = Look, I'm actually dead!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
John: "Have you spoken to Mycroft, Molly, uh, anyone?"
Mrs Hudson: "They don’t matter. You do."

And here: "Famous last words - vol.1 and 2":

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
John: "Have you spoken to Mycroft, Molly, uh, anyone?"
Mrs Hudson: "They don’t matter. You do."

"If you were dying, in your very last seconds, what would you say" ...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
He’s got a dog. We go to the pub on weekends. I’ve met his mum and dad …

… and his friends and all his family and I’ve no idea why I’m telling you this.

Ooooh, this is a good one...and there are others, I know there are...just can't think of them off the top of my head.

Here's my absolute favorite:

When Sherlock in ASIB says, "I'm not afraid of sex," Mycroft responds, "How would you know?"

In the following season, in TEH, Mycroft says, "I'm not lonely, Sherlock."  And Sherlock responds, "How would you know?"

You see, he will outlive god to have the last word!

Well, that was a very nice bit of... revenge.

Not just in phrasing; someone pointed this out on Tumblr and I was reminded of it again today in the Johnlock thread. Sherlock and John pick up each other's habits.
