My God, this must be the cutest and most beautiful cat I ever saw! (I love them. )
What breed of cat is this? The gray colour and the white "socks" are especially striking on her.

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Awww! Thank you! She is vefy cute when she isn't being in hyper-manic-climb-up-my-curtains-mode!!!

I've no idea of her breed, if she even is one?? What does it actually mean 'breed?' My sister's cat simply had kittens and I had one of them. Though I've finally nagged her enough to finally get the poor cat neutered!

I just wanted to ask in case she is some special breed I should be aware of.
But no matter if she is or isn´t - she is elegant anyway.

Oh right - ha ha!
Nope, I think she is simply a rather pretty 'commoner'!

"Commoners" are usually more healthy and livelier than overbred "nobles", so no harm there.

I did hear about that! It was when we were considering pet insurance and the bred cats cost more because their immune system etc is more vulnerable because of all the cross breeding.
So, yeah, it's probably better than she is just an ordinary cat.
And yeah - she is certainly lively!!! Eeeeeeeek!!!!

We call an 'ordinary' cat a 'moggy'.

I took this one in my mother's garden the other day when she took me on a garden tour showing me the progress of all of her flowers and I was so tempted to put in a 'Sitty down Mother' *cough*.

I'm actually a little pleased with this one... and she apparently wants to use it for some post cards or something. Heh!

Taken with my phone

Thank you, Phantom! She is one spoilt little kitty!  My inlaws visited yesterday and saw her for the first time. They love cats (they have 4, though they had 10 at one stage) and they said they would happily have taken her home!

And that is a beautiful photo. I love clematis and that is a gorgeous colour!

Of course I had to pick the one week in May for my UK visit where it's pissing rain without relenting for days. But I still got a few rainy shots while I was out to visit the History of Science Museum in Oxford today.

Most beautiful! It looks like a fairy-tale.
And the way the rain has turned pavements in Oxford into mirrors at those first three photos makes the scenery even more magical.

Those pictures are fantastic! The rain gives it a lovely mood! Very British feeling!
