If I am not mistaken this artwork was inspired by a fanfic. AU where the bomb goes off at the pool and they jump into the pool for cove. Don't remember the name right now bit I can check. It was rather good

While I was on the plane I indulged in a little sketching, and this was the result. Not sherlock but a Benedict all the same!

Clare I hope you don't mind me saying, but you've inspired me to learn to draw!
I don't quite know how I'll learn, because I'm pretty hopeless, but I'm going to start by buying myself some drawing materials tomorrow and will go from there! Wish me luck!

Just popped in on this thread to see your comments and I am SO touched! I was so pleased with how this went - it's a different size and different paper and it's definitely better to work with.

I really wish I could post something as impressive as Clare's drawings, but unfortunately, it's completely out of my reach!

I brought a new sketchbook and pencils the other day and thought I'd try them out, and did a little Mary Watson sketch.
