This is just practice and I'm not proud at all... but I've not touched a brush in 10 years and this is just me testing the techniques... I think you'll notice the Sherlock inspiration. It doesn't really belong in here I guess...

I'm going to start out trying to paint some flowers and landscapes and when I feel ready I'll take a crack at some real Sherlock 'art'...

You're such a talent, Clare and I can't say that enough! You put so much life in your drawing; amazing details and the light and the shaddows is just so amazing! I want to reach in and ruffle those curls!

Thank you guys! I am still tweaking it (just seen the ear is too far back, and the lips are wrong.

Always striving for perfection....I want it signed by him, I'm not going to have anything less than my very best effort for him!

Haha, you find the most original ideas on Tumblr. I just stumbled across this, and it reflects my own twisted sense of humour. I'd totally put that up at home too.

This is not Sherlock, but it's Benedict... and yes I know what you're thinking it's just some weird strokes of a brush; but to me each one of them has a sense of meaning.

I call it "Love is Vandalism in pure form"
