Oh, and I realize it's missing Mycroft, but if we want all the main characters, I'd have to go make something completely from scratch...

I like your design, TeeJay.
But since this is a Sherlock fan forum with lots of activity by its members: Couldn't the fact of being a "fan" be included in the banner in a way or another? Just the (beautiful!) pics of the Sherlock characters actually don't do justice to this vibrant forum.

Hm... like, how? I have no images of fan meetings, cosplays and such. I'm trying to think what else I could use. Anyone got photos or links they can send me?

And, yeah, I suppose I could try to photoshop Mycroft in there somehow.

Why not keep and re-include the Speedy's picture from one year ago?
Maybe some of the participating members have pics from our London meet-up which they could contribute.

Yeah, I can try that, though I'm not quite sure how I'd work that in with the cast picture. But someone would have to send me a bigger version of the Speedy's photo than what's in the current banner. I'd be happy to play around with other meetup photos as well, but then it'll be difficult to include that and all of the main cast.

You could add a picture of one of the meetings to the bottom, maybe. Or is that one not meant to be changed?
We could also collect tiny, little pictures of the active members, and put them together at the bottom of the page.

Size like this:

I quite like that idea. I could even put that at the bottom of the header below all the cast. But then I'd need for people to send me photos they'd like to have included.
