Did you guys know that there are regular East Midlands Sherlock meet ups held in a cafe near New Street station?

Yup. I'm on their mailing list and I've been to both of them so far, so I'll let you know when the next one is and post it up on here.

Yeah, I went. It was awesome, as usual. I won the quiz this time too, yayyyyy. And we also came up with a name for the group - The Birmingham New Street Irregulars. One of them is going to start running a newsletter which we can all contribute articles, stories and fan art to and I'm thinking I'll probably set up a website for them too.

I just booked flights to Birmingham for Aug 7 to Aug 10. Yay! My intention is to visit my best friend and attend a concert together on Thursday, but if anyone in the area (or even from further away) would be up for a meeting or other Sherlock-related shenanigans in the wider Birmingham/Banbury area, I'd totally be game. Even if it's just a nice night out in a pub...

I have nothing planned for Friday (especially during the day since my friend has to work), but I guess Saturday would work too. Thursday and Sunday are already booked. And it'd have to be a location that I can reach from Banbury without a car (so train or bus).

Anyone up for a Sherlock meet?

I would! If anyone else is game it might be nice to get a little group together. It's my birthday on August 10th.
