I think I would feel very awkward asking something like that... you could just as well have asked 'Benedict did you read my fan fic? its called...'

Personally I don't want him to read mine...

If it was me I would find something interesting about the show to ask, something clever I think... something that had bothered me

Thank you all for posting what was said - I always feel they are being tested in some way when they are asked this stuff.
Must say Moff looks quite cross with Benedict in those screen caps!

I don't know what was asked exactly, but as a member of the fandom I would never ask a question about the fandom. You're basically asking a question about yourself, right? And I suppose that all fandom-related questions that are even slightly interesting, have already been asked over and over again.

 I agree.
I don't follow all the interviews and Q&A sessions - I don't always like to - but I don't know what people expect them to say when asked about things like fiction and artwork.
I find it even worse though when so called professional interviewers ask about it - because they're clearly looking for a reaction.
I know it can't always be serious stuff that's asked though.

That's true, and there are lots of other, not so serious things which have nothing to do with fandom one can ask.

I was at the Apple Store the other day, it was absolutely brilliant and a great experience. Martin's socks were excellent! And Moffat's sex joke was just hilarious.

I have the same problem, and I haven't found another version online that works. Kind of annoying, though understandable that Apple wouldn't want it to be posted anywhere else.

Hopefully it will eventually end up on YouTube. Such a shame they took that other video down. I'll keep looking though and report straight back to this topic if I find it.

Maybe on a virtual machine if you're having Linux?

A virtual machine is like an operating system within an operating system. If you have Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate, you can create a virtual XP machine where you basically start Windows XP in a new window within your Windows 7, and in there you can work just like with any normal Windows XP. I hope iTunes still runs on XP, because that's really the only way I would install iTunes on my computer.

And even if you don't have Win 7, there are freeware programs which will let you set up virtual machines in your operating system, but it's not exactly simple if you're not the computer savvy type.

Why can't you install iTunes directly on Windows 7?
Well I used to have itunes on Win XP, it should work.

I got iTunes because I got an ipod, but don't use it atm...

It's only through seeing this gif series, that I have finally realised the meaning behind the words 'it doesn't see daylight for long, mate'!!!!
