Were John's parents at his wedding?

Apologies if this subject has already been covered...
I know that we have now met Sherlock's (adorable) parents but were John's parents at his wedding? I would have thought they should have been. I know that Harry made her excuses but were John's parents there but simply not focussed upon as characters?

Not sure his parents are still alive. They've never been mentioned.
