There are at least three of us on here that live in or near Manchester, maybe more.

We should organise a board meet up. Anyone up for it?

I can get to Manchester for a couple of hours! I would SO be up for this!!!!

Shopping?? *rolls eyes* Hardly a Sherlockian activity. Unless we're shopping for Sherlock Holmes books or John Watson jumpers.

I would love to do this and the centre of Manchester is only 15 minutes away for me. The only problem for me is fitting a meet up around my life. I have 3 kids and the youngest is just a baby. Evenings are definately out of the question but then daytimes I'm busy working my life around my kids. Summer hols are soon then I finish maternity leave and go back to work.

I just don't know how I'd ever manage it.

I'd be up for a meetup, but not with kids. I don't have any myself and to be honest, that's not how I would wish to spend a few hours in a bustling city.

Yeah, that was just a joke really. There's no way I'd take my kid to a meet up, lol, I wouldn't be able to enjoy myself properly.

Anyway, SherlockHound, you're more than welcome to crash at my place if you come to Manchester for a meet.

I live near Birmingham and although Manchester is too far to go for a meetup - I'm public transport only and don't have the dosh to be honest - I would so be up for a meetup for the Frankfurt Xmas Market; I've been a couple of times and it's a fantastic place to get presents! Plus all the Sherlock chat...
