I was staring at this for too long while I was trying to get in the right frame of mind to write a super sad, very emotional John & Sherlock scene. (I have no regrets whatsoever.)

Yes, gently. I almost couldn't believe my ears when I heard him say "Oh Sherlock..." - and especially the way in which he said it.
Although I also love him in the smoking scene with Sherlock.

Of course the smoking scene was also heart breaking at the end.
In this series I started to appreciate Mycroft much more. He really did a big step... in direction... to my heart...

I actually loved him right from the very start, his first 'meeting' with John was just... brilliant.
Mycroft: "He does love to be dramatic."
John: "Thank God you're above all that."
Cracks me up over and over again.
