So do I. Recently watched the film on DVD. Cried all along.

I cry big ugly sobbing tears just listening to the CD.

But apparently it's not Mycroft's cup of tea.

I've got the film too...gets me crying every single time... Especially the last scene!

Sam - "I'm your brother, Dean, if you ever need to talk about anything with anybody, you got someone right here next to you."

Could we please appreciate he is wearing a John shirt in this scene?

I also cry at Les Mis. I have bawled my eyes out at the cinema last year (even though I was working on it...long story!!) and have gotten over the shame since. My friend wasn't crying....

Come on, he's not making fun of John, he's not being sarcastic, he's not being rude... I'd say for Sherlock that's pretty damn close to being moved.

Actually, I'd say he's... shockingly moved. If you know what I mean.

Oh yeah , he isn't just moved, he is utterly shocked. Like he can't really comprehend or believe what he's seeing/hearing....it is both sweet and sad . Reminds me of this analogy I found;

"Look, Sherlock, this is the biggest and most important day of my life… and I want to be up there with the two people that I love and care about most in the world. Mary Morstan and… you.” — John Watson and the time he broke Sherlock Holmes."
