It was just a test. I never said I would write that much.

I believe the original setup suggested the minimum of 221 words

It'd be very nice however if at least a few of the stories were going to be longer than 221 words.

Well, I've started writing last night and I'm definitely beyond that already...

I am in a writing mood today. Let's see what happens.

Anyone have a problem if mine is long?

I think it is actually quite difficult to write an interesting story with just 221 words.

By the way, did I mention that this is going to be my first fanfiction and my first fiction in English EVER??? Oh gosh, I must have been crazy ;-). On the plus side: I already outlined the story (in my head),so all it takes now is to write it down. Should be easy, right? RIGHT??

Yes, Marva, from my experience it is indeed as easy as that. More or less.
And I must say, I don't have the slightest idea yet, so I envy you

But half the fun consists of the panic beforehand, doesn't it? I've been awake half of the night (well, mostly due to my teeth, duh) and was convinced I wasn't going to be able to use any of what I wrote last night. When I reread it this morning before work, I thought it wasn't bad, and now I'm entirely stuck because I have no idea where it is headed. Yay! Such fun!

I have a sheet with some feeble attempts - goodness, that person has complicated requests, but I will cope, promise!

Haha, I was also awake half of the night because I had a very important appointment today which made me nervous so I used the time to outline my plot . Writing is a good cure, it seems.

Let me quote from the first post:

Registration will end on November 10, that way I can sort it all out and distribute the Secret Santas so that the writing can begin on November 15. Ideally, the finished stories should be sent to me on November 30 at the latest. If for some reason your story isn't finished by then, please tell me, so that I can schedule it for a later date.

Thanks for clarifying that! I'll start writing tomorrow... and I have no idea about how long the story's gonna be yet

Talking about complicated requests... what have I gotten myself into here? This is going to be very interesting...

Feeble attempts are better than nothing!

The same with me. It will also be my first fanfiction. So, you are not alone!
I was lucky with my theme. It fits perfectly to a story idea I had in mind for some time. So, in my head the story is finished, I "just" have to write it down. Well, just...

I guess we should all try to have as much fun with this as possible. I'm sure that nobody expects a perfect fanfic (and how boring would that be? ). This will also be my first fanfic written in English, so you probably will have to bear with me at times. And I also won't be abe to fulfill all the wishes I got for the story I have to write, so I hope fulfilling some of the wishes will also be fine...

WHUTT???

Sorry, just kidding.

Of course it doesn't have to be perfect, and maybe the native speakers among us will have some fun with whatever mistakes we'll create...
