Alone is my protection.

It's 11:42 PM EST in South Carolina, USA, and I am the only human being on the planet on this forum right now!

Weird. Spooky. Disconcerting.

Hey, where is everyone?? I think I need a blanket...

Mycroft’s popularity doesn’t surprise me at all. He is, after all, incredibly beautiful, clever and well-dressed. And beautiful. Did I mention that?

But the thing is, we've taken away all the things that can possibly have happened, so I suppose the only thing that's left, even though it seems really weird, must be the thing that did happen, in fact. (Miss Marple)

Re: Alone is my protection.

Thank you, kazza. Much better now.

Irene, you weren't curled up in Sherlock's bedroom were you?

Re: Alone is my protection.

Yep, It is rather creepy!

10:30-something here but it's just me and a few guests. I really hate guests because they coud be anyone (stalkers, cannibals, Axe-murderers etc.) but it's best not to think about it...

I was wondering if you'd like to have coffee...
Hmm. I really don't know. Oh, I'm sorry, did I say 'know'? I meant 'care'. I don't really care.

Re: Alone is my protection.

Sadly, I am still too young to fully comprehend the hardships of adulthood...

Re: Alone is my protection.

If you ever get old enough to fully comprehend the hardships of adulthood, let us know. None of us have it figured out--we just have lots more baggage.

Re: Alone is my protection.

There goes my hope of an easy life once I'd passed 21! Does it ever improve?!

Re: Alone is my protection.

It does not improve... I still am trying to comprehend anything...
As Tantalus wisely said, you just have more and more baggage

Oh, the baggage never goes away, I suppose, but it's a glorious life God has given us, and the joys are well worth the sorrows. Look forward to it. Just don't expect to understand it all. And don't believe those who say they do...

Re: Alone is my protection.

I don't like being alone,  but I'm not lonely.  I  have my cat....my Tv set--my books...and my internet fan boards...and Sherlock.

I never get my hopes up too high---If I do,  Moriarty crashes it.   Not good,  no.
