It wasn't a nice day. You don't fell well, but you go to work/school anyway - just to be attacked by your boss/teacher, and you don't even see a reason, why. Back home your husband/boyfriend doesn't have time to talk to you. There is nothing to eat left in the fridge. It's getting dark and it is cold. You are frustrated.
So you end up...............
..... with a cup of tea and another round of Sherlock S1-2?
...... calling a friend?
..... going for a walk?
..... shouting at your dog?
...... writing an angry letter to your boss/teacher and burn it afterwards?
...... talking to a skull for hours?
..... in the bath tub? A green one?
..... listening to music and dancing in the garden?
.... cleaning up the flat? Moving the furniture?
..... painting a wild picture in red, yellow and pink?
.... dying your hair?
What do YOU do at the end of a bad day?

- Have a nice scented bath while reading a fanfic on my Kindle
- Meditate
- Come here and try to distract myself
P.S. Hope you are feeling better now.

This is what I do at the end of a bad day:
- eating chocolate (a lot)
- fanfic and the forum like Susi
- petting my cats
- venting to my best friend

Tea is good.
Bathtub would be good if I had one.
Curling up on the sofa and listening to an audio book. Fall asleep. Wake up.
Another cup of tea.
And chocolate.
Phone with my sister.
Anything Sherlock.
Tomorrow is a new day.
For sure.

Hey Susi and Titania,
I also read on my kindle and in our forum!
In addition I play flute or go jogging...
'Bad day, was it?':
Sherlock beats corpses with a riding crop...
But I wouldn't recommend that

bubble bath + wine (or rum!) + fanfic works for me when I actually have some "alone time"

Oh, an option I totally forgot!
Today for me it was
1. fanfic on my kindle
2. dancing to LOUD music
3. petting my cat (who obviously didn't like my dancing. Or the loud music.).
Forum in between.

All of the above, except that I would never shout at my dog.
I hope you'll feel better soon.

Call a friend or family member. I don't live near anyone in my family, so it can be tough some days. At the end of the day, I might take a nice hot bath. But I have to talk to someone to get it off my chest.

You seem to all cope so well! I fear I turn into a feral Abbington/Freeman persona and curse rather badly!

Make myself copious amounts of tea.
Settle in for some lovely Sherlockian sarcasm.
Deduce that everyone that's made my life hell that day is a blithering idiot.
Write feverishly until all the angst is thoroughly removed.
Read some lovely Johnlock smut to take the edge off.
Sleep soundly and start the day anew.
But then, of course, I do that when I've NOT had a bad day, as well. ;)

Hm, well due to personal reasons I get frustrated nearly all the time, so there's quite a few things I do to help...I read, a lot, nothing like some saucy Sherlock/John fan fiction to put you in a better mood, hehe . I'm also a big movie buff, so often I'll watch a film, maybe some Star Trek too, or one of my favourite comedy shows like Scrubs, Frasier or Monty Python. I'll also have a hot shower and then make myself some comfort food, like popcorn, soup, tea (yes, I say it counts as food! ), ice cream or some form of chocolate.
And I come here and hang out with my fellow Sherlockians

I ususally pace back and forth and yell every swear word in the book. Then, I take my dogs for a long walk.

I usually take a hot bath. Or I call my friend and talk with her about how unfair life is. Normally I feel better after that.

I used to go running, but I've hurt my knee so that's out. Loud music, a comedic show, or reading fanfic. Running works best for anger though...

Watching Sherlock or Doctor Who. That's my default setting.
I also tend to:
-Eat something, Ice cream is usually a good option
-Listen to angry music
-Paint my nails
-Go shopping
If it's really, really bad I will bake. Even though I have a mini-oven I will bake several batches of cookies.

Doctor Who used to help me at one time, but at present in such situation I usually watch one or two episodes of Supernatural. I find it really amazing how positive impact on my mood has this show, it truly helps me feel better (maybe because the characters have bigger problems than I do, heh).
But the other things I usually do then are also reading (especially something by Tolkien), or listening to some of my favourite songs. I rarely talk to other people about my problems, which is not quite good but I'm used to it.

Things that help me:
1) Drinking Tea/ hot chocolate and wearing my PJ's
2) Watching DVD's (watching Sherlock for a while before I go to bed really relaxes me.)
3) Reading nice books or listening to audio books (Ballet Shoes, Harry Potter, Jane Austen, Frenchman's Creek, etc).
4) Eating chocolate and other nice treats
5) Talking about my problems to someone
6) Listening to music
7) Having something to look forward to.
