Re: Sherlock Anagrams

Could the owner of this anagram please give us a hint as we weren't given any indication whether it would be quote, a prop, a location, a person, a whatever...?

Re: Sherlock Anagrams

Hi Jacco,
sadly you didn't take any notice of my request and thus this game came to an unnecessary halt.
It's really diffficult to solve an anagram when have no clue at all in which direction one has to look for.
Spoils the fun a bit.

Finally, here you are:

GIGANTIC HOUND

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
John: "Have you spoken to Mycroft, Molly, uh, anyone?"
Mrs Hudson: "They don’t matter. You do."

Re: Sherlock Anagrams

I'd like to bring back to your attention this lovely little anagram game.

It's been over a year now that Molly Hooper left us with these four little words – sadly without any hint. It's tough when you are supposed to find something without a clue what and where to look for: a character, a location, a prop, a quote etc.

This unsolved mystery bothered me quite a lot and I had the respective Scrabble tiles lying around here for some time now.
It was only yesterday that I found out that the solution is

VINETTE ROBINSON,

the actress who plays Sally Donovan.

Maybe you'd enjoy playing this game?
If so, here's the next challenge:

...along with one hint - for a start:

A character

There will be more if need be.
Have fun!

Re: Sherlock Anagrams

The Mayfly Man

-----------------------------------

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?
