Thank you for the great news. Now I can finally read it She's one of my favourite authors too. It will be fun because I don't know much about baseballIf that's the story I'm thinking of, she includes a very long, complete tutorial about American baseball in the beginning. I called it Everything You'd Want to Know About Baseball and More. lolol Seriously, it was quite a labor of love (love of the sport) for her to write that.
I've already managed to read it (I'm that kind of reader who can't stop reading when he starts) and it is great. The introduction about baseball helped and was interesting to read but you can easily skip it because the fic is not so much about baseball as it is about falling in love

I don't think this one had been recommended here. I love it. Sometimes I was laughing out loud but it is also sexy and really well written. It is Post-Reichenbach starts quite a while after the return and is in no way connected to the Moriarty story. (There is also a nearly finished sequel called "Torn Stitches".)
"Loosed Reins"

Sounds interesting! I'll give it a read, thanks for the rec!

I have just finished reading "You can hear the Wind" by Serinah. About 14,000 words, rated "Teens and up", which means it is very emotional, but no slash.
Summary: Sherlock discovers he can feel emotions after all. He’s just not sure what he’s supposed to do about them. And why is John always upset with him?

Thanks, Schmiezi, will download this one at once.

Oh, if you have not started reading it yet, Susi, you might like to try another one first: "Triage" by scullyseviltwin. It's about John getting seriously shot and Sherlock being completely unable to deal with it.
Author's summary: Sherlock’s mind goes exceedingly, devastatingly quiet and gray-blank. When he speaks it’s through a thick haze, it’s through molasses, he’s so disconnected from the words that it may as well be the unconscious shooter speaking.
“It was only a twenty-two,” he says, voice unfeeling and unwavering, as though that makes any sense at all.
I've read the first two chapters now and they are breath-taking. Think I might not get enough sleep tonight.

OMG, just what I like. So I have enough reading stuff until Christmas. Someone on this forum just managed to persuade me to try a STID fic although I had sworn myself not to touch anything but Sherlock. So much for sleep.

Sleep is highly overrated.
(Says the woman who always falls asleep around 9 pm at the moment.)

Oh, this sounds great! I've read other fics written by the author, so I'm sure I will not regret reading this one. Thanks for the rec, Schmiezi!

Glad to hear she has written more. I will spend some time on trains soon, so I better start downloading her other fics right away.

My Kindle is full, full, full. Now I only have to find the time …

Schmiezi, I would recommend this one, for example, it's not very long, but I liked it a lot:

I'm curious, which one? I pretty much just read Sherlock stuff too, but out of curiosity I did recently read a STID fan fic. I ended up enjoying it.

I'm not quite sure which fan fic thread to post this in, since technically it could go in any of them. I just came across it and it's quite intriguing, and kinda fun too! Follow the link, read the summary and you'll see why

I loved gamebooks when I was younger. I used to end up dead and hardly ever win And since according to the tags someone might die in this fic as well, with my luck I'm pretty sure someone will or I end up with some strange pairing I don't doubt I'm going to enjoy it thanks for the rec

GRRRR Apparently my company has flagged "adult content" and I now can't access the Masterlist to edit it from work ><
Will update it when I get home
