Nice. What episode is that from? Or is it a candid shot from when they were shooting? I like it.

No idea AG. Just found it on Pinterest. But yes, like it very much.

Words cannot express how much I love that one.

Yes, and I haven't seen that one ever before. It's really just...

It looks to me like a casual shot. Seems more Ben and Martin than John and Sherlock.

I think so too. The more I look at it (and what a chore THAT is....not, lol) the more I think so. I wonder, I know a lot of Sherlock was filmed outside in Wales in the winter, but there were a lot of interior scenes as well-- suppose Ben melts into a puddle of sweat in that coat sometimes? It looks hot. Here, baby, let me help you with that coat.... there's a luv. *swoon*

I love that..... and yes, how they look more like 'themselves' right there! I had only ever seen this one before:
which is obviously from the same shoot, but no... don't recall that from any episode, or other promo pics like that, do you? Just the 'character posed' promos taken in a studio... love the natural element to it, though, and how their expression look so perfectly in character in that one.

Love them. And such wonderful actors, in their oh-so-very-different ways. Chemistry, yards and yards and gallons and gallons of it.
I'm finally getting a chance to watch Parade's End on DVD, and am gobsmacked yet again by Ben's acting. OMG, that poor Tietjens guy he plays! He needs a hug so bad! lol Again, what a chore.... not.

So true. I am still totally blown away by Ben's performance in "Third Star". Watched it last friday for the first time and almost a week later I could still start crying just thinking about it. There is so much good stuff to be expected from him in the future, I'm sure... can't wait.

Have you seen Hawking? He's very young--it was done nearly 10 years ago-- but I thought the role was heart-felt and he did a great job. I found it on you tube, where someone had posted the entire movie in like 4 or 5 parts.

No, haven't seen that one yet, although I also found it on YT a while ago. I should definitely watch it soon, so far I've only seen a few scenes.

Good writing, and it seemed as though Ben really got into the role-- smart, young, uber-educated, sort of like Ben himself I guess.

Oh, I really gotta watch this asap!
And now something I just found...

Ohhhh.....I'm loving your little picture series on the three different threads, Kitty. They really make me smile.

Sherlock so clueless, whether on purpose or just because he really is that clueless. And John self-conscious and embarrassed, wanting to impress Sarah but stuck with his dorky friend who would not shut the hell up. lolol

THIS is the moment and shows the whole point of Blind banker.
This scene HAS to be viewed in conjunction with Angelo's cafe, otherwise none of it makes any sense,
Here we see that Sherlock just doesn't get relationships and more to the point, John hasn't yet got this...

Seconded! Hee... and loving the emphasis on their different attitudes, like ag said. Aw, John.... ;D
Although... ahem. I may have a new top favorite shot of the guys... or on the short list, at least, with other select favorites such as the above promo shot, them doing 'gang signs', them at the read-throughs, etc.... May I present some more utter adorability?
(Oh, and occurred to me to add an addendum first before the picture... my bad if this has already been posted elsewhere! Not meaning to step on any poster's toes, or have people complain of a 'spoiler' - I don't read the Series 3 thread where some of you might have gotten to see stuff like this posted, plus I thought we established that picture promos the BBC decides to show us are ok. Which they did... here - (along with a couple others!) Thought I might not be the only one who would love to enjoy the bit of on-scene cuteness they wanted to taunt happily share with us, that's not even spoiling anything.) God, I love their smiles.....
