I will most likely watch it via filmon.com on the internet. I am very concerned about using only legal methods to watch it, and this seems to be one.
Same here.

Well, now I am curious.
@all other German members: How are you going to watch series 3? Is there a BBC internet channel or do you need a special satellie reciever? So far I assumed there is no possibility to watch BBC outside of the UK. But obviously I am wrong.
I watch live BBC with the help of my mobile, apple TV and a costfree app (filmOn-LiveTV or so). With apple TV I can stream everything from my phone onto my TV.

Watch out, your halo's slipping

I watched series 1 and 2 at Dailymotion. I would like to watch the series 3 at the same time when it airs in UK and be able to take part in the ensuing frenzied sherlocking . If it is not possible I would try to abstain from fan sites until I could watch it, but not sure if I would succeed as being away from everything Sherlock is one of the last things I want. I'm seriously going to be in a dilemma

Sadly still no date.

Well, they DID say "End of this year/beginning of next".

Nah, it was always said in a way to mean "End of December/Beginning of January" way.

Oh yes, that last pic is just great, they both look so adorable!

Yes, but a specific date would be nice! It's as if you invite people to a party, saying "Just come to my party. It will take place maybe before Christmas, but more likely after New Years Eve. Just keep this period of time free."
Too early still to be more specific, I presume. But, hey, I need to see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Yes, but not many people invite their friends to a New Year's party in the middle of September ;)

I just wonder: why is it too early? Yes, I know, we know that the BBC wants to see the completed episodes before they announce an air date. I just really wonder why... in my opinion the only logical explanation would be that they might want a revision of one or more episodes, a different cut, different ending, whatever. And that would mean that the air date would have to be delayed. And they probably don't want that, which is understandable.
But please, come on, how likely is that...? The episodes will be just perfect!
The BBC probably doesn't want to run any risks, and it's probably their policy to do it like that... but I don't care anymore!!

I would think it's too early because they haven't even finished post-production on episode 3.

God, I love these two photos, esp. the last one!!! Thanks for posting, finally something "new".
By now I have reached a state where I gladly gobble up any tiny little bit of Sherlock 3 I can get hold of.
