Have actually used brit words for years.  Sarted using them a lot when my kids werfe little to avoid "really swearing" in front of them.  More than a tad hypocritical I know.

Welcome! I could be your older sister or something. Maybe. *shrug*  Anyway, I'm quite a bit older than you. No worries about age here. I've been hanging here for a year or so, and I can very rarely spot anyone's age-- it's almost spooky how we all blend into an amalgamated group of Sherlockians.Have you checked out the Johnlock fan fic thread? I started that a few months ago, and it's had more hits than most of the threads on the board. There are a *lot* of Johnlockers here. When I started the thread, I thought I was all alone, lol. Nothing could be further from the truth.Also please come and check out the Benedict Cumberbatch picture thread. We all have our mattresses set up to fall down and thud on when we get overwhelmed by the beauty of His Fineness. Smelling salts, snacks, comfy pillows, I even set up a cold shower nearby where I can go soak my head when I need to cool down. It's a fun thread.
