Sebastian is such an arse...though my opinion may be slightly clouded by the fact that I've recently read a few different fan fictions in which he is just awful and I wanted to punch him mercilessly ....anyway, that look...Goddamn! *THUD*

He wasn't an arse, he was just written that way, lololol.

Sebastian was a plot vehicle to show us some of why-Sherlock-is-the-way-he-is, a glimpse of how he came to be "him". I found it fascinating. Also interesting how, although he's perfectly capable of it, Sherlock didn't use his command of the English language to flay Sebastian wide open-- he could have slain him dead, figuratively speaking, right over his own desk, if Sherlock had chosen to do that. But all he did was answer him in the most minimal way possible, putting on that snarky thing he does, but Ben being the wonderful actor that he is, he allowed us to see the old hurt and confusion and maybe regret behind Sherlock's eyes.

I think Sherlock despairs in his fellow humans and some of the tine, I agree with him!

I love those 'classic' shots.  Love them very much.  Very calming... being played to sleep.... yes....
Certainly not at all like being stared at.....  *cough*

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Interesting shot. Red Frankenstein curls, I imagine. But the jacket is hideous.

They wore matching suits and I quite like them...for somebody who doesn't like suits!

Love this one, just love it! I can practically feel the texture of his skin with my hands when I look at this pic... that's a clear THUD!

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

The shots are fun, I've seen them. I'm quite sure Benedict would not wear such a suit to a premiere.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Well, I was not talking about his suit, I was talking about his skin! It obviously distracts me totally from the... rather interesting pattern of the suit.

It does seem a little bit more 'Martin' than 'Ben', doesn't it?   ;D

Hrm...  also?  I remember seeing promo shots of them against a wall, wearing dark colors/leather jacket.  When besley mentioned 'they wore matching suits' for some kind of promo... don't recall that?     Boy, you're constantly coming across stuff you missed before in this fandom!  Quick image search....  ...Ohhhh...  'loud suits' indeed!    You mean this, right?  (Love the hair, though!)

The Frankenstein hair is awesome. It can also be admired in the Rattigan documentary.
