Ha! That's one of the reasons I love IMDB... hearing about trivia and goofs like that I wasn't quick enough to notice... plenty of moments of crew/equipment getting caught in the picture! :D
I don't have many pictures at all of the times they use neat, vast vistas... in the country by Baskerville is one of the neatest, but I like how they fit in some city-scape (with the requisite landmark!) here:

Very imposing, thanks Russell.
Almost a hall of mirrors...a reflection of a reflection

It really doesn't get any simpler than this, does it? But it's the simplicity that just takes my breath away... just look at this! It's a perfect composition!

And then, again, my favourite topic of the last few days: lamps and lighting!

Speaking of light. Some from Baskerville I really like:

Oh, those are great, Mattlocked! It always amazes me how much the show sometimes looks like a movie... I mean, is this really just a tv show?

Sherlock is most certainly not JUST anything.

Not sure where this goes...seems apropos here..apologies if not...
Seems like they went to some effort to wallpaper Goldney Hall for Johns wedding/location/ set..but does anyone have any idea of what the wallpaper shows....do we have a blue phoenix rising behind Sherlock...or are they maybe blue mayflys...?
It does seem rather symbolic somehow..especially the yellow (yellow important plot point thing) and the blue...but have been unable to identify it....ideas?

Do you mean the pretty pictures painted on the yellow walls? (trees, leaves, butterflies, notably the bird silhouettes, which were also used on the table name cards). I thought mayfly was used just for the 'Mayfly Man' thing, and those were definitely birds. And I'm not sure where I heard this, either a quip from someone on the show or someone here, but I thought there was an idea that they were magpies (to tie in to the reference in TRF). But they don't have forked tails like the pictures do. Phoenixes, though, they did include in TEH - Arwel commented about the pictures of such on the back wall of the restaurant Sherlock first goes to.
And curious what you mean by trying to figure out the plot connection with color… maybe they thought the set just looked the best that way.
