Yes, I think you are right. We can hear the squeaking of the door being closed.
The interesting part of this little problem is: Which door is it? I thought for a moment that it might be the door to 221 c but I checked it. It doesn't fit.

With regards to the door, I think that apart from the main door to the building there is also a middle door, like a screen door that you get in the US on ranch houses and places like that. So if Sherlock was opening the front door, with the middle door closed...that makes sense.
Remember this part from Scandal, when Sherlock gets back to see Mrs Hudson being attacked by Americans?
Here he has opened the front door and is now opening the middle door. Looks like the same place in the trailer.

Yes it is definitely the shadow of a door, but I thought it was funny -above all with that "suspense" music- that it looked like a shark's fin.
