Oh, i just read "Lucid" recently. It was enjoyable.
I have yet one more to reccomend from Beautfiul Fiction.
"Electric Pink Hand Grenade"
Sherlock suffedred from dillibilitating migraines when he was younger but he thought they were gone for good.
Hurt/Comfort - Dr John takes care of Sherlock - friends to lovers
If you like these things this story is just what you need for a rainy day.
Ooooh! I have read Electric Pink Hand Grenade , really enjoyed it!

I think that's fine - actually, it often helps to know there are several fans of a certain fic. Also, after a while you get to know each other's taste. Also helpful
(And I didn't finish "Electric Pink Hand Grenade" )

I see. So you read fanfic and come here very often. But what else do you do? Do you eat?

Right, Mattlocked, when I asked I actually thought of What do you do besides of reading fanfic - and coming here?

I read "Disguise" today in the car and really liked it. I was not so sure at the beginning but it got better and better. And it's a really new idea with a nice nod to canon.
P.S. You can read fanfic and eat at the same time.

And in case it's a bad one, you can even sleep at the same time

I"ve been reading Disguise today also. It was a little slow to get into but it did finally hook me. Looking forward to finishing it later tonight. Giving up the fan fic for a bit and actually going to go out and socialize.

You've got courage to do so: I'm a fanfic addict and I can't stop myself! Even in holidays!

Well...I go outside (sometimes ), I also watch a lot of stuff (big movie buff here, and I collect all my fav tv shows on dvd), play piano, paint, write, I'm a gamer...and of course I read, mostly Sherlock fan fiction lately (hehe ), but also other things ...I don't deny though, anything to do with Sherlock occupies a great deal of my time, and I love it! And I love being here, this place really is the best fan forum (of anything) I've ever been a part of
And of course I do eat and sleep...occasionally
I wasn't sure about Disguise either at first, but it got more interesting the more I read of it and I ended up enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would.

Big reccomendation here.
For some reason I got on a parentlock kick last week.
Most of what I read was short "slice of life" fluff. All enjoyable but like eating candy. Sweet but no nutritional value.
Then I found this.
Multiply (the sum of our parts)

This is a longer work and it's one of the best fics I have read recently parentlock or not.
The plot is well thought out and the why, when and how children come to be is given a lot of weight.
It's AU in that the author has John and Sherlock become a couple before The Fall but it feels real and believable.
And a big thing for me was this was the BEST written version of Mummy Holmes that I have ever read. Many times when her character is included in a story she seems very flat to me. This author made Mummy live and breathe for me in a way no one else has.
I would recomend this eveh if parentlock isn't necessarily your big thing.

Oooo, you caught me right when I need something good to read. I just started this and am already captivated in the first page. Yay! Thanks so much for the rec. And thank god, it's not a WIP, which I won't touch with a ten foot pole.
