Re: Silly pictures of associations only Sherlockians can understand

On the way to Southport today visiting my sister, I saw a sign for a place called Holmes

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dean - "I'm not happy about it. But I got to move on. So I'm gonna keep doing what we do...while I still can. And I'd like you to be there with me."

Sam - "I'm your brother, Dean, if you ever need to talk about anything with anybody, you got someone right here next to you."

Re: Silly pictures of associations only Sherlockians can understand

I just found a cluedo board at our holiday home. Oh well... the rules are wrong anyway.

"Falling is just like flying, except there’s a more permanent destination."

"Sherlock Holmes is a great man, and I think one day—if we’re very very lucky—he might even be a good one."

"Would you like to-"
"-have dinner?"
"-solve crimes?"
"Oh"

Yes, exactly, Harriet. Strictly speaking, a dining-car would be the only car that counts on Irene's train.

This sounds like a good, new Sherlockian game to me:

Irene's teain would be...
Sherlock' train would be....
Etcetera.

Re: Silly pictures of associations only Sherlockians can understand

We bought a lucky cat today. Well, that thing seems freaking creepy to me. I think it might be intending to kill me in my sleep... Gosh, it's really scaring me. No wonder John refused to buy one.

I went shopping with my son. He found these. The real colour was more purple.

If my son had asked me to buy one I would have been tempted to say yes.

Re: Silly pictures of associations only Sherlockians can understand

Don't know if anyone has mentioned this before, but does anyone know the animated movie "Brave"? In it the heroine Merida has three little brothers, they always play tricks on people and are really up to no good. And the name of one them is Hamish.
So. There you go. I really cracked up when I rewatched the movie yesterday.
Here you see two of them, no idea if one of them is Hamish:
