I loved what we got. I'm still riding a wave of euphoria over such a small snippet. How the hell I will survive actually watching the episodes I do not know.

I for one do not feel disappointed in the least. I loved it!

I'm not ticked by the trailor per se, I'm ticked that they made such a huge deal out of it, for something, which wasn't even made for the fans. Don't let them fool you, this was made to remind people who happen to watch the repeat that there would be a new season soon. It was to be expected that they would show some sort of trailor at the end of the repeat, because that's what networks do. It's just good marketing. But when they started the countdown, I thought we would get more than just that. Sherlockology did a huge disservice to the fans if you ask me, and so shortly after the Comic Con disappointment (don't get me wrong, I understand that they do something special for the visitors, but every other show which visits Comic con makes sure that they at least give the fans something aftermath, at least some promo pictures if not new footage), this is a huge letdown.

Re: What's the countdown for?

For those who didn't hear- Mark Gatiss refuted the "not actual footage" thing...he said everything was, in fact, from the actual show.  Not surprising, since, as I mentioned before, those scenarios were correct.

No, it's the moustache of evil. He looks so horrible.

The moustache isn't evil...he is just usually busy having adventures elsewhere.

So, it/he has gone on holiday, on John's face of all places!

(I love John Watson, with or without moustache, just a small matter to me, and he won't be having it for long anyway I think)

Yeah, I saw that too. He was actually pretty confused about where that rumour came from. So yes, just to confirm THE TRAILER IS FROM SERIES THREE

and fits in with all the spoilers btw...

I like the moustache. It reminds me of the previous John Watsons.
