Is it true that they're trying to get Series 3 aired in the US at the same time as the UK?

Personally, I want to see it for myself, that's also why I'm avoiding al the spoilers. But I can't speak for others of course 
Guess I'll have to wait a few hours then until someone uploads it... I'm not a big fan of watching things illegally, but they really leave you with no other choice if you're non-UK.

A whole year? How come?
German television is kind of slow in broadcasting new shows from other countries... And unfortunately, Sherlock didn't have really good ratings here, so it's not gonna be top priority or something.
But even if they'd send it after a month or so, I couldn't possibly wait that long. A week max :-)
