Sherlock panel at San Diego Comic Con (Series 3 Spoiler Warning)

http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/07/03/sherlock-comic-con/

With Moffat, Gatiss and Sue Vertue. So jealous of anyone who can attend this...

Re: Sherlock panel at San Diego Comic Con (Series 3 Spoiler Warning)

Awww, man….  for the rest of you who are as wistful as I am to have gotten to see the SDCC Sherlock panel!  Some little blurbs so far, courtesy tweets from Sherlockology:

Steven Moffat on the difference between Benedict and Martin: 'One of them is a high-functioning sociopath, the other's a Hobbit.'

"Benedict and Martin are optioned for Series 4" - @Suevertue

"[#Sherlock Series 3] is slightly more human, slightly more real." - #StevenMoffat
As Moffat also explained, the show has “moved on a bit. There’s slightly more humour.”

The first ever #SDCC panel for #Sherlock has now concluded, with the reconfirmation it will air in the USA on @MasterpiecePBS in early 2014.  (of course still no definite UK date)

Steven Moffat on what he'd say to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle if he met him: "What are you doing in my TARDIS?" #Sherlock #DoctorWho #SDCC

from Empire Magazine tweet - Day 1 of #ComicCon2013 sees Divergent, Ender's Game and The Zero Theorem grace Hall H. Yet the biggest line is for Sherlock in Ballroom 20.  (hee… but of course!!  )    Fans were also lucky enough to see a short rough cut of footage from the new series, as well as a typically adorably awesome 'hello' video from Benedict and Martin!

(oops... and sorry, didn't mean to jump in on your first sharing of that video!  Just loved it...  :D  Great article, though)

Just this morning you were all tiny and small and made of clay!

I'm working my way up the greasy pole.  It's… very greasy.  And…  pole-shaped.

No problem Russell, looks much nicer with the video embedded like this

About the article, I have been informed it contains a spoiler (well, it does, albeit a small one), so if you don't want spoilers, don't read it

Re: Sherlock panel at San Diego Comic Con (Series 3 Spoiler Warning)

I love the video. And the fact that Benedict needs three times as long as Martin to deliver his message. So funny.

Exactly what I thought, too Martin is just adorable and Benedict is hilarious, gotta love them.

"Cabbage.... Ooo! Ooo! Ooo!... And this big helicopter thing.... Cup of tea dear.... And that's basically it."

Glad we finally got the answer on that one

Re: Sherlock panel at San Diego Comic Con (Series 3 Spoiler Warning)

I think it's highly suspicious that he's mentioned a helicopter for the second time. Could there be some truth in it?

You're right, probably John missed the helicopter because he doesn't observe :D

And obviously Mrs. Hudson was involved in it, too

"...and this big helicopter thing..."

Oh no, is he telling again how Mycroft arrived in a helicopter, only dressed in a skirt?

Lovely, lovely interview. Need to watch it again when I'm back from my f***ing last school day!

Also group hugs for those who can't be at Comic Con either.

Btw, the audio of the clip they showed is now available on YouTube. Contains massive spoilers for Ep 2 but seeing as Moffat has allowed it to be played to the Comic Con people, we can allow it too:

Re: Sherlock panel at San Diego Comic Con (Series 3 Spoiler Warning)

You guys really know how to lead someone into temptation... now I'm seriously debating with myself whether I should read that second article or not.
Is it a spoiler about how Sherlock survived? Or more about relationships?

Hmm... thanks for the answer, but I think I won't give in and read it. I've kept it up so far, I'd better stick to it and be nicely surprised when it airs.

And now I'll get out of this spoilery thread before something dangerous comes along Have fun discussing it all!
