This year's Sherlock Holmes picnic will take place on Saturday 20th July, meeting in Regent's Park, London at 12pm. As the title insinuates, food is involved, and people are encouraged to bring their own Holmes inspired cooking for a competition. From 2pm there will be a murder mystery event which last year involved teams of people chasing all over London after various clues that were left in different places, having to solve Pigpen ciphers and Dancing Men codes, as well as take photographs of your group in various Sherlockian related poses for extra points. I'm hoping for similar genius this time.

At 5pm everyone will be heading to The Metropolitan Bar near Baker Street tube station for a quiz, then to Baker Street Pizza Express at 7pm for a sit down meal. It's going to be BRILLIANT!
