Well, it is taken directly from the episode. But I forgot why exactly he is smiling. Definitely have not watched it enough yet. maybe someone can serve with the answer before I get the chance? Unfortunately I have to work

Yes indeed. What a beautiful yet horrifying moment.
When he sees John at the pool there is also the this tension right before he sais John's name.
But the sound cannot be captured in a picture. This scene makes me choke up every time.
