The point is simply he is not bothered by being naked in his work,

I am not bothered by anything he does on stage or in a movie, since that's his career, and if the role calls for it, then he should go for it. But when some photographer spur of the moment suggests he "strip off", as the Brits call it, so she can take some previously-unplanned-for shots, I think that's potentially dangerous. Who knows who had a cell phone on them at the time?

I think I put the link to the article in the post, maybe I should have explained more.  It wasn't a casual meeting in a pub.  The photographer is talking about an exhibition she has at a big gallery opening of this series of photographs she did.  She's not anyone random, she's a rather famous artist, as photographers go.  They were in the bar for the specific purpose of making that picture, and while she might not have had the final exact form in mind, she knew she wanted the model (BC) naked with the newspaper.

So it was a professional photo-shoot.  She was photographing him not because he is BC, but, as in her other pictures from the series, resembled a known figure in politics and finance.

Anyway, I just thought it was nice to have context for the picture, I never knew where it had come from before. I didn't know it would become an issue.

Pilot Sherlock.  As for the whole nudity question, I agree with you on all points.

I know, right?

Why did they ever change his hair?

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

His hair certainly was interestingly different in the pilot.  Here, too....

(although honestly, aside from Sherlock-hair and Harrison-hair, I find that one pretty nice on him too!  And same awesome intensity...)

Just this morning you were all tiny and small and made of clay!

I'm working my way up the greasy pole.  It's… very greasy.  And…  pole-shaped.

He's great in TTSS. Wonderfully dressed, and the hair's interesting as well. And then there's this short, heartbreaking scene …

That's what I meant. Didn't want to post a spoiler for those who haven't seen it yet.
