I do love this. Still together, after all those decades, and Sherlock is still demanding and driven (as well as being driven, lol), and John is still supporting and guiding him. What a sweet thought, even though I admit it's a bit jarring, seeing it like that. *smile*

There's some kind of element of the idea of Mycroft sheltering Sherlock here, protecting him from the elements, as it were. Very clever-- someone could write a whole story around this image.

Hmm… So… disclaimer, I'm not really into this kind of alternate universe or shipping, but the mere IDEA of mini-me versions of our guys on the show (or imagining what their quirky personality would have been like in a kid) is hilariously cute. And I think this artist did it quite well, and figured… hey, why not, some of you might enjoy the quirkiness of it too:

I have read a few AU fics when one of the guys has a child and they're usually well done and pretty believable.
Who is that guy Sherlock is talking to in the left side image there? John would peel Sherlock and hang him up to dry for taking his/their son to talk to Moriarty.... is that who that's supposed to be? Eeek.
