Is it just me... Or is the world different without Moriarty?

So, yeah... I really miss Moriarty... The world had never seen such a villainous Consulting Criminal who was really quite epic... I feel quite lonely now... And bored... "Bored"... -Sherlock says while shooting the wall... "Oh, the wall had it coming"... Heh, heh... I think i'll just go back to playing chess with myself while I wait with utter desperation for someone to say something...

Hello and welcome to the forum. I too thought Andrew's spin on Moriarty was just great.

Re: Is it just me... Or is the world different without Moriarty?

Hello to you.
Sherlock will miss him, too. What will he possibly do without him and his puzzles?

Re: Is it just me... Or is the world different without Moriarty?

Thanks for all the welcomes, guys! Yeah, I hope there'll be another super-awesome evil villain guy, but never could there ever be anyone as awesome as Moriarty... And the sad thing is that I'm pretty sure that Moriarty is dead... Because I know Mark Gattiss and Steven Moffat would feel like the series would drag on a lot if he came back to life as well as Sherlock... So yeah... Really sad... No, I can't think of any other people who would suit an archenemy of Sherlock's, but I've always wondered if it really is the last we'll ever see of 'The Woman'... Sorry, I'm dragging on now... But I really am surprised about how many people have commented something... I thought I'd be all lonely, stuck with, like, 1 comment on something awkward... Yeah... Heh, heh...

Re: Is it just me... Or is the world different without Moriarty?

I do like Moriarty/Scott very much but I think there are so many stories in the canon featuring other interesting villains (e.g. Baron Gruber). And remember, Moriarty isn't present throughout 99% of the canon. I'm sure they'll be able to do without him as sad as this may be for many fans.

To me Sherlock is about two things mainly - friendship and solving crimes. As long as I get these, of course with brilliant actors, I don't really care if there is in archenemy or nemesis or a plain human criminal. And maybe we get stories that are at least as interesting as episode 1 - 6 when the focus is on the crimes themselves and not so much on the person behind them.

For me to bring back Moriarty would mean losing credibility. I hope - and think - they won't.

Thank you. I loved being a High-Functioning Sociopath so I didn't want to give it up when I became moderator. When I heard that I could choose my own name, well …

Welcome to the forum! Make yourself at home. Kettle's just boiled.

Hell, I'm going to miss Moriarty like crazy. He was so great and it was so fun to watch him being playful and insane. Oh well...

Re: Is it just me... Or is the world different without Moriarty?

Mmmmm... I'm bored now... Anyone out there? Either to talk to or to borrow a nice gun from? Just to shoot a wall? I've got my own bullets...

Professor James Moriarty died on May 4, 1891. So it's just you.

Hi, TheAssassinOne.
I think almost everyone will miss miss Moriarty but I suppose there will be retrospections with him.
Have a good time here.
Cheers from Poland.

Re: Is it just me... Or is the world different without Moriarty?

Oh... May 4th? 1891? Heh, heh... That's exactly 90 years before my auntie was born... That's pretty cool, actually... Yeah, actually, over time, I have come to the fact that it really is just me... But I have also decided to try to get over it... A bit...

Re: Is it just me... Or is the world different without Moriarty?

Yo... I'm really bored now, actually... Like, seriously... Has anyone got any ideas for what I can do? Bearing my Psychopathic (or just highly-functioning sociopathic) mind in mind... Or just something these humans call 'fun'... Yeah...

Just have a look at the other threads and share your opinion. That's what forums are used for, aren't they?

Re: Is it just me... Or is the world different without Moriarty?

Welcome to the forum....and yeah, I will miss Moriarty too, but there'll be plenty of other good villains, hopefully. Ha, good villains, kind of an oxymoron...is that what they call the damn things?
